Selection Guide
Select floor pads based on color: White and pink pads are used for floor polishing and crystallization tasks, suitable for high-speed machines (1000–3000 RPM) and various flooring materials. Red pads are used for daily cleaning and scrubbing; they can also be used for polishing and crystallization treatments. These are suitable for low-speed machines (150–600 RPM)-such as floor scrubbers and single-disc machines-and are compatible with all floor types. Green or blue pads are coarser than red pads and are designed for deep cleaning to remove surface coatings, scratches, and stains; they are suitable for use with low-speed machines, though their use for the daily cleaning of resilient flooring (such as PVC, VCT, or LVT) is not recommended. Black or brown pads are the coarsest and most aggressive options, designed specifically for wax stripping and heavy-duty deep cleaning to remove old wax layers, stubborn stains, and coating residues; they are suitable for use with low-speed oscillating machines but should *not* be used for daily cleaning. For diamond cleaning pads, grit size (mesh count) is the key selection criterion: ≤200 grit is suitable for heavy-duty wax stripping and removal tasks; 400 grit is suitable for deep cleaning; 800 grit is suitable for floor scrubbing and maintenance; 1500 grit is suitable for polishing and daily cleaning; and ≥3000 grit is suitable for daily cleaning, polishing, and high-speed burnishing. When making a selection, consider choosing products that have obtained environmental certifications-such as Green Seal-as their design helps enhance performance and durability, extends product lifespan, and reduces solid waste generation.

When to Replace
There are three key indicators that signal when a floor pad needs to be replaced. The first is a decline in performance: if the cleaning results for specific tasks-such as wax stripping or heavy-duty cleaning-show a noticeable deterioration, replacement is required. The second is a visual inspection: for pads featuring a surface coating, replacement is necessary once that coating begins to wear off or peel away. The third factor relates to general maintenance: if, during routine cleaning after use, you find that residual dirt or debris is difficult to remove-potentially compromising the effectiveness of future cleaning tasks-you should consider replacing the pad.

Maintenance Recommendations
To extend the lifespan of floor pads and ensure optimal cleaning performance, it is recommended to rinse them thoroughly with clean water and allow them to dry completely after each use; this prevents the accumulation of dirt and debris, which could otherwise negatively impact their performance during subsequent use.
